Author: As someone who has happily lived in a bachelor pad for the last few years I am not used to thinking an awful lot about things like duvet cover patterns and cutlery sets.
My place is fitted out with the same stuff that was in it when I arrived and a few of the gifts people gave me at the start. This means that my duvet cover has a rather splendid image of my footie team’s badge on it.
Would I Suit Pink and Frilly?
The problem now is that my girlfriend and I are looking for a house to live in together. While my bed is the right size for the two the football themed duvet cover doesn’t seem to be to her liking. This might sound like a typical issue of a man not wanting to give up his freedom but I really like that football cover and can’t imagine slipping under a pink, frilly one with flowers or fairies on it.
I had a look online and there are some decent options for couples now. We could get something classy and suitable for grown up and I could maybe slip on the football one at the weekends. It seems like a decent compromise although I might need to give in on the size of the TV screen in order to pull it off.
